# Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the provision of electrical services by 24/7 Electrical Ltd ("we", "us", "our") to you ("the client", "you").

## 1\. Services

We provide domestic and commercial electrical services including but not limited to emergency repairs, house rewiring, EICR testing, EV charger installation, consumer unit upgrades, lighting installation, smart home systems, and commercial electrical work.

## 2\. Quotations

-   All quotations are provided free of charge and without obligation.
-   Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
-   Quoted prices are fixed and include labour, materials, and certification unless otherwise stated.
-   If additional work is discovered during a job, we will inform you and provide a separate quote before proceeding.

## 3\. Payment

-   Payment is due upon completion of work unless alternative terms have been agreed in writing.
-   We accept bank transfer, card payment, and cash.
-   For larger projects, staged payments may be agreed in advance.
-   Late payments may incur interest at the statutory rate.

## 4\. Emergency Call-Outs

-   Emergency call-outs are available 24/7, 365 days a year.
-   Call-out charges are quoted before the engineer is dispatched.
-   If additional work beyond the initial emergency repair is required, a separate quotation will be provided.

## 5\. Guarantee

-   All workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of completion.
-   The guarantee covers defects arising from our workmanship only.
-   Manufacturer warranties on materials and components are in addition to our workmanship guarantee.
-   The guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, third-party interference, or events beyond our control.

## 6\. Certification

All notifiable electrical work is certified in accordance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and Part P of the Building Regulations. You will receive the appropriate certificate upon completion:

-   Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC) for new installations
-   Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate (MEIWC) for minor work
-   Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) for inspections

## 7\. Access and Preparation

-   You must provide safe and reasonable access to the work area.
-   Any fragile or valuable items near the work area should be moved before the engineer arrives.
-   We will take reasonable care to protect your property but cannot accept liability for damage to concealed items behind walls or floors during rewiring work.

## 8\. Cancellation

-   You may cancel a booking with at least 24 hours' notice at no charge.
-   Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a fee.
-   Emergency call-outs cannot be cancelled once the engineer has been dispatched.

## 9\. Liability

-   We carry full public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance.
-   Our liability is limited to the value of the work undertaken.
-   We are not liable for pre-existing defects, damage caused by others, or consequential losses.

## 10\. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us at info@24-7electrician.co.uk or call 0203 576 6961. We will investigate and respond within 5 working days.

## 11\. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
